His Majesty issued a proclamation requiring the return of previously granted passes for ships and vessels trading in the path of cruisers from Barbary coast governments to the Admiralty office before February 1, 1766, except for those on voyages to East-Indies or remote areas; new passes of present form to continue for two years from that date in such cases, and other passes of different forms to be issued.
