A Model Establishment.
Upon a recent trip to Volcano, we took occasion to pay a visit to the manufacturing jewelry establishment of Francis Reichling, and with the utmost confidence we can pronounce it entirely ahead of any concern of the kind in the mountains of California, both as to the extent of its operations and the superiority of the workmanship displayed. Everything pertaining to the business, including the finest articles manufactured from gold, silver, gold-bearing quartz, &c., will be found at Reichling's, and everything is produced in a style of beauty and finish that cannot be surpassed either in California or elsewhere. It is worth a visit to Volcano to examine his stock and specimens, especially if you require anything in his line.
Among other things, Mr. R. manufactures manzanita walking sticks with gold, silver, ivory, or gold-bearing quartz heads, (with steel rods through them to impart strength,)-which we unhesitatingly pronounce the best that can be found at any establishment in the State. To see a specimen, our friends are invited to call and examine one presented by Mr. Reichling to ourself.
