Upset.

The livery stables of Auburn are well stocked with blooded animals. Parties wishing to obtain a team for business or pleasure can be accommodated at short notice. Mr. J. B. Bates, a San Francisco gentleman, one day last week, hired a superb turn-out and drove over to the St. Lawrence Mine, in El Dorado county, to look after his interests, and took his wife along to see the beautiful scenery that is so numerous on the way. In turning around in front of the hotel, he upset the vehicle, the horses understanding what had happened came to a halt. No one was hurt. Damages, about five dollars.
