Rt. Rev. Bishop Bryan and Rev. Father Cronin called on Governor Cleveland last night at Buffalo. The Governor took occasion to deny in the most emphatic manner the charge that he had ever, directly or indirectly, influenced any member of the Legislature regarding the disposition of the Free dow and Worship bill. Senator Grady says emphatically that the Governor did interfere to prevent its passage. Judged by the same standard with which the Democrats judge Blaine, Governor Cleveland of course lies.
