Full Text
The postmaster of the local postoffice received instructions to fix the rent of the small sized lock boxes, which up to this time have rented for 50 cents per quarter, at 60 cents per quarter. The rent of medium sized lock boxes remains at 75 cents per quarter and the large ones at $1 per quarter. The rents of all boxes will have to be paid before the beginning of a quarter, otherwise mail will be placed in the general delivery unless ordered otherwise.
The boxes on the north side, with the exception of the lower tier, will be taken out and partition moved in on that side and lengthened on the west side, thus giving more room in front of carriers' windows.
It is probable that a fourth carrier will be added to the force and the change will be made as soon as definite news is known concerning the fourth carrier, which will necessitate an extra window.
