Full Text
By the London price current, of July 29, it appears that the insurance on American vessels, was done at three and a half per cent--and by a paragraph in the London Public Advertiser of August 23, we find five guineas per cent, was the rate to the West-Indies and the different ports in America. He who runs may read. In fact, to give any credit to this famous letter of M. de Soulange, after such convincing proof of its falsehood, would surely entitle a person to a statue of lunacy.
