Sectional Or Not?

We understand that some good Democrats are considerably staggered at the sectional character of the Chicago ticket—the Democratic party having heretofore insisted that a Presidential ticket should be divided between the North and South. We are not certain, however, that the McClellan and Pendleton ticket is so very sectional, for while those gentlemen are Northern in residence, they are doubtless both Southern in feeling and principle. Their bodies are in the North, but who will say that their hearts are not in Dixie? At least, if sectional, the ticket is of the Southern section.
