CINCINNATI, July 23.—It is reported that the inventor of the Hanes dynamite bombs lately received an order for 3,000 of those deadly weapons for shipment to Nelsonville. The order was refused and Gov. Hoadly was notified. The governor placed the matter in a detective's hands and some singular developments are expected. There is a rumor that the mine owners desired to use the bombs to prevent intrusion upon their property by the striking miners, but nothing definite is yet known.
