PORTSMOUTH. March 22.

An accurate Statement of the Algerine Naval Force, on the 13th of November last, (as received by Congress,) for the information of the Merchants of Portsmouth, viz.

1 Brig on the stocks pierced for 20 guns which would be launched in thirty days from the above date. In addition to the above, they have 60 gun-boats—And Tunis has 23 cruisers from 24 to 4 guns—there were on the 13th Nov. in Algiers 12 American Captains, 16 Mates and 87 Mariners, in all 115—whose ransom is 2000 dollars each.
