Cadets Examine Machine Guns.

The high school cadets were instructed in the use of the different parts of machine guns used in the world war Monday afternoon by Capt. Johnson, of the Second infantry who is in command of the recruiting party visiting this city. Captain Johnson illustrated how the Vickers, and Browning machine guns were used on the field of action and also took the guns apart, showing the various parts. He also spoke to the students on the value of mathematics in warfare. The recruiting party left in trucks this forenoon for Waterloo.
