Full Text

A Pretty Race.

Last evening when the bicycle boys were about to start for Granite canyon by freight Paul Bailey lingered longingly at the depot to say goodbye to friends. He was suddenly aroused to the fact that he was being left by seeing the freight train rapidly pulling out of the west end of the yard. Paul mounted his wheel and took a straight away course down the track.

The race was a pretty one for Paul gradually overhauled the moving train and was pulled with his wheel on board the caboose by the boys.
