Rescue Workers Press Forward
Rockwood, Tenn., Oct. 7.--()-- Removal of three more bodies during the night brought to 12 the total number of dead in the explosion in the Rogers entry of the Roan Iron Company's mine here Monday.

The last bodies brought to the surface were identified by articles of clothing as those of Jess Dale, C. B. Davis and Walter Cunningham.

The mangled condition of the bodies made positive identification impossible.

Identification of one of the three bodies recovered late yesterday as Hector Smith was established last night. The other two were Frank Bowles and J. A. Freels.

Rescue workers pressed on today towards the scene of the explosion where it is believed 15 more victims remain and it was expected additional bodies would be removed from the mine today.
