"SOLDIERS SHOW" BIG HIT
AT SERVICE CLUB NO. 4

In keeping with the "Soldier's Show Week," Service Club Number 4 conducted a Talent Show composed of soldiers at the Club last week which was a big hit with the large crowd of soldiers who gathered to witness the various performances.
MCMILLAN, THE MAGICIAN
AND VENTRILOQUIST
Pvt. Lewis McMillan, serving as Master of Ceremonies for the "Soldier's Show," highlighted the evening with his performances as a magician and ventriloquist.
The young actor is only 19 years old and has been acting the part of a ventriloquist since he was nine years old. He was called "the Child Ventriloguist."
His act is a combination of magic and ventriloquism. Before coming to Fort Benning he entertained soldiers overseas for 26 months in the European Theater. He was on detached service with the Special Service Allied Forces Headquarters overseas. Since being at Benning for the past few months, he has been working with the Post Special Services and is at present assigned to Headquarters Detachment Section II.
In an interview with Pvt. McMillan, he stated, "I plan to go back in show business in a big way when I am discharged from the Army." His home is in Xenia, Ohio. His father heads the Department of History at Wilberforce University of Ohio.
Pvt. McMillan expects to continue producing and performing in shows at Service Club Number 4 and around on the Post as long as he is stationed here.
