Representatives from Hampton Institute will attend the conference together with members of the trustees. All Hampton Alumni are invited to attend all sessions of the conference.
On Sunday, the Conference Banquet will feature an address of greetings from the Dean of Faculty of Hampton Institute, Dean William Martin. Greetings will also be brought from local city and school officials. At 3 p.m. a public program will be held in the auditorium at Lucy Addison High School. A panel entitled "Facing the Future in a Progressive Society" will be featured with Dr. William H. Watson, Professor of Agriculture at Virginia State College serving as moderator and co-ordinator.
Panelists include Mrs. Madge Wheaton, Dr. Flemmie P. Kittrell, Head of the Department of Home Economics at Howard University and Trustee of Hampton Institute and Dr. Stephen J. Wright, President of Bluefield State College and an alumnus and former Dean of Faculty at Hampton Institute.
Hamptonians throughout Virginia are invited to attend as well as other interested persons.
