JESSE LAKE

A. P. Wicklund is building an addition to O. M. Bye's house.

Norwegian services were held at the school house Sunday afternoon.

Rev. Winterguist held Swedish services in the school house Sunday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. O. M. Bye visited with Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Wicklund Sunday afternoon.

Rev. Winterquist gave a loyalty speech at the Community sing held here Wednesday evening of last week.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gunderson of Grand Rapids and family visited with the O. M. Bye family Thursday afternoon.

Sam Stangeland went home Sunday to visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stangeland, who live at Sand Lake.

Mr. and Mrs. Magnus Kongsgord and Mr. and Mrs. Sigurd Brenden visited Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Theo. Alzen.

Mr. and Mrs. Axel Johnson and children, Mable and Elmer, and Clara Johnson and Richard Westling, went to Duluth Friday morning of last week by auto to hear Billy Sunday. They returned Tuesday evening.
