TWO KILLED BY BOILER EXPLOSION.

Dubois, Pa., Jan. 4.-B. E. Masters, an engineer, of Newtonburg, and John Miller of Dubois were instantly killed today, and a fireman named Patrick was probably fatally injured, by the explosion of a locomotive boiler near McGee's mills, this county.

The explosion occurred on a branch road running from McGee's mills to Newtonburg. The latter is a lumber town and the road was built principally to carry lumber. The wrecked locomotive was what is known as a "dinkey," and was owned by John Dubois, of this city. Miller, who was one of the killed, was employed by Mr. Dubois at Newtonburg, where he operates a large sawmill.
