Sharing the pulpit at the evening hour were Rev. W. A. Williams, of Cartersville, Ga.; and Rev. W. F. Few, of Monticello, Ga.
Tuesday night, Rev. Hurley preached the sermon, while Rev. Gay gave the invitation and made the appeal.
"LAUNCH OUT INTO THE DEEP"
Rev. Hurley's sermon topic was based on a portion of St. Luke 5:4 - "Launch out into the deep."
Accordingly he centered his message on a fishing scene which took place on the shore of the lake of Gennesaret.
Giving three distinct reasons why the fishermen had not caught any fish, Rev. Hurley said: "They gave up. If you want to succeed in life, you must hold on."
Then he called on those in the congregation to launch out into the deep of courage, faith and service.
Music was furnished by the Antioch Choir, accompanied by Mrs. Annie Grace Baker; Choir No. 2 and the R. H. Porter Gospel Chorus, of St. Paul, under the direction of Mrs. Daisy R. Mason.
