They were the Livery of the Jacobins, and not the Livery of London, who attended at Guildhall last Friday. The ragamuffin-like appearance they made, their riotous conduct, and the numbers of Chalk-Farm faces that were very visible in every part of the Hall proved what description of people had come thither to seize upon the exclusive rights of the Livery, and to exercise that French principle of equality, so dear to those who wish to level the rich and the poor to one common standard in this country.
