Spanish Claims.—The Commissioners under the 11th Article of the Spanish Treaty, have adjourned to the first Monday in January next. The number of memorials already presented, exceeds 500, and the amount of claims, is $15,000,000. Part of the claims, as exhibited by the memorials, the Board rejected at once, as not coming within the provisions of the treaty; others they have postponed for further examination and evidence. They have ordered, and given public notice, that all persons who have claims, and have not filed memorials of the same and intend to do it, file them previous to the first Monday of January next.
