STEAM BOAT ELECTION

A gentleman who was passenger on board the Steam boat Constitution, between Baltimore and Philadelphia, on the 13th inst says, in a note to us, that a vote was taken on the Presidential question, which thus resulted:

All the persons present were said to be residents of States south and west of Delaware—from Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabanna, Ohio, Kentucky, Virginia and Maryland.
