At a meeting of the inhabitants of the county of Philadelphia, for the purpose of nominating suitable persons to represent them in Council in the General Assembly, one person as a commissioner, and conferees to attend the state conferences at Lancaster, Geo. Gray, Esq. in the chair, the following gentlemen were agreed upon:
Counsellor—Thomas Mifflin, Esq.
Assembly—John Salter, George Logan, William Robinson, junior, Richard Peters, W. M'Pherson, Esquires.
Commissioner—Evan Thomas.
Conferees—George Gray, Enoch Edwards, Esquires.
