Czecho-Slovakian Debt Settled.

Washington—Establishing a record for speedy solution of such a problem, the American and Czecho-Slovakian debt commissions agreed upon an arrangement for funding Czecho-Slovakia's debt to the United States. The American government accepted, subject to congressional approval, a lump sum of $115,000,000 as the basis of the settlement upon which the annual amortization payments will be made, conceding a reduction of $2,679,095 from the obligation as shown by treasury records.
