REBUILDING FAST

That swift work has been done in repairing the damage by fire to the mill of the Goldfield Consolidated Mines company is indicated by advices from the camp that by the middle of the week from 70 to 80 stamps were dropping upon ore and that the remainder of the mill will be brought into service well within thirty days.

Loss of revenue to the mining company by the suspension of milling operations will be overcome, says the Goldfield Tribune, by making shipments of high-grade ore from the Clermont workings to smelter. Three carloads have already been taken from high-grade stope on the 750-level for smelter shipment, and others will follow, so that the revenue of the company for the present month will not be far short of the average. A few days' production of this high-grade ore will offset the actual damage to the mill, and officials of the company give assurance that the regular dividend, at least for the present quarter, will be declared.
