PYRAMID COMPANY PACKS 30,000 CASES AND CLOSES
The Pyramid Packing Company of Sitka closed with a 30,000 pack, according to C. J. Alexander, its manager, who arrived from Sitka this morning and is at the Gastineau Hotel. The company only planned on putting up 25,000 cases, said Mr. Alexander, and was prepared to handle only that many. Later, when it was discovered that the salmon run was large, it prepared for 5,000 cases additional. When they were filled the plant was closed for the season.

Mr. Alexander is well pleased with the season's work. W. C. and J. L. Freeburn are associated with Mr. Alexander in the ownership of the Pyramid Packing Company. Mr. Alexander expects to leave for the south on the Queen tomorrow.
