FROM LISBON.
By the ship Dorothea, captain Dougherty arrived in 40 days from Lisbon, we are informed that Lord Wellington was before Badajoz and was progressing in the siege; that he had taken two out-posts, which were said to be of considerable importance; that reinforcements were daily arriving at Lisbon from England; and that it was reported in Lisbon that Lord Wellington had intercepted some letters from the French commander in chief, to the governor of Badajoz, requesting him to exert himself and hold out as long as he could, as he would not be able to lend him any assistance.
