Man Hanged in
Woman's Clothes

GALESBURG, ILL, Dec. 10. (UP)

The body of a man, clad in women's clothes and a long brunette wig, with rouged face, was found hanging by a chain in a cornfield today. His hands were padlocked behind him.

The body was suspended by a dog leash from a low branch of a tree and sagged so low the knees brushed the ground.

Police identified the victim as Gale Davison, 26, a former brakeman on the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy railroad, now unemployed.

The wig was of such good manufacture that the victim was believed a woman until the body reached an undertaker.
