CANNERY MAN MEETS DEATH BY DROWNING

R. H. Huddleson, about 40 years old, and foreman of the cannery at Loring, was mysteriously drowned yesterday morning. It was learned here last night (July 5) upon the arrival of the body aboard the tender Quadra.

According to co-workers, Huddleson arose early, going out alone. The first intimation of the accident was made known when two men awoke other cannery workers with the news that a man had been drowned. The body was identified as that of Huddleson.

According to cannery officials Huddleson has a family in San Francisco.
