Fire.—Between three and four o'clock yesterday morning, a fire broke out in the silver plate manufactory of Mr. Anson Baker, opposite the south side of St. Paul's Church, in Fulton street, which, with most of its contents was soon destroyed.
Mr. B's books and papers were preserved from fire in one of Delano's iron chests. The flames soon communicated to the adjoining building, occupied by Mr. James Campbell, as a looking glass factory, and to a chair maker's shop, occupied by Mr. Edward J. Tredwell, both of which shared the same fate.
*These Chests are kept for sale by Mr. Conklin, No. 55 Main street, Cincinnati, who is the agent for Mr. Delano.
