Hold to Answer.
The examination of S. B. Collyer, charged with an attempt to kill James Riddle on the 3d of July, in Virginia, was concluded yesterday. Justice Henderson bound him over to await the action of the Grand Jury. Jos. Douglass and Jas. Orndorff went on his bonds for $1000 each and he is allowed the liberty of the town.

Drawing a Deadly Weapon:
James Riddle, who was shot by S. B. Collyer, will have a trial Monday before Justice Henderson. He is charged with drawing a deadly weapon. If found guilty the penalty is a fine of not more than $500, or imprisonment in the County Jail for a term not to exceed six months.
