[Special to The Herald-Examiner Dispatch.] NEW YORK, Sept. 7.—A Journal cable from London says: A lively quarrel is reported between the Emperor of Germany and the Empress, and the origins of it are alleged to be as follows: Some time ago the Empress received a bundle of letters written by the Kaiser to a lady of the court. These compromising documents were accompanied by an anonymous epistle, which, it is said, made matters worse. The court lady concerned was at once dismissed, but the Kaiser insisted that she would be allowed to remain. Meagre details only have as yet been given, the German press having received a hint that imprisonment will be the fate of any and all editors who print any mention of the matter.
