NUEVO LAREDO, Mex., Feb. 27.— Two of the many thousands of afflicted persons flocking here recently to the graveyard camp of four Indian "divine healers," never will learn the potency of the ministrations they received. The pair, a father and son, were drowned when they attempted to swim the Rio Grande to evade American immigration authorities, who had refused to let them return to the Texas side.
The authorities said Pilar Coronado, 50 and his son Macario, 20, whose badly decomposed bodies were recovered today, would not reveal the nature of the illness for which they sought healing, and therefore were refused re-admission to Laredo, Texas, their home.
