PETERSBURG, September 15. On the 7th Inst. about Three o'Clock in the Morning, her Imperial Majesty, and their Imperial Highnesses the Grand Duke and the Grand Dutchess, returned to their Palace in this City from Peterhof.

Their safe Return was immediately communicated to the Publick, by the Discharge of an hundred and one Pieces of Cannon belonging to the Fort, and by a great Number of Ship Guns that were at Anchor in our Road.

On the 10th Instant the Festival of the Order of St. Alexander Nevsky, was solemnized at Court with the utmost Pomp and Magnificence; and the Knights of that Order, had the Honour at Noon, of dining with her Imperial Majesty at Table, where there were no less than forty-four covers, served up in the new Gallery.

During this grand Entertainment, the Musicians belonging to the Chapel, amused her Imperial Majesty with a very grand Concert: and the Festival closed with a grand Ball, which her Imperial Majesty honoured with her Presence for several Hours together.
