NATIVE GROUP ORDER $1,000 SERIES G BOND

Right in line with the Treasury Department's Second War Loan Drive is the latest investment representing Alaskan natives.

Fred Geeslin of the Alaska Office of Indian Affairs has received a check for $1,000 to buy one $1,000 Series G Bond, the interest-bearing kind.

The check was from the Point Hope Trading Company, a native cooperative store, sent in by David Frankson, director, who said the step was decided on at the last meeting of the Board of Directors on March 1.
