Flagpole Up: School Now Class A

Emmet - Pupils in Emmet school district 20 have finished selling magazines. Kathleen Grothe, Art Wills and Melvin Luben received awards for selling the most. Melvin Luben was top salesman with $24. With the school's share of money, weekly readers will be bought for the school year, a year's subscription to the "Picture Parade," and five plastic records.

Miss Helen Martens attended the convention at Norfolk last week.

Mr. Foreman put the flagpole up, and now we are a class A school. -- By Kathleen Grothe, news reporter.
