PARIS, May 30.

His Majesty has given the Queen the Place called the Petit Trianon for her Amusement, and three Sets of fine Horses.

It is assured that his Majesty has likewise given the Palace of La Muette to the Count de Provence, that of Bellevue to the Count d'Artois, and that of Choisy to Mesdames Adelaide, Victoire, and Sophie.

His Majesty has given the Count and Countess of Maurepas an Apartment at Versailles, which communicates with his own. It is the same that Madame de Barre formerly occupied, three Rooms only excepted, which M. Thierry inhabits, who is first Valet de Chambre to the King.

The Count de Maurepas, who will probably be appointed Prime Minister, was born the 7th of July, 1701. At 15 Years of Age the Post of Secretary of State for the Marine Department, which was formerly held by the late Count de Pontchartrain, his Father, was granted him by the Regent of France, who, in 1718, permitted him to exercise it. He was a long Time charged with the Department of Paris, and during his Exile always held the Esteem of the Nation, which he acquired during his Ministry.
