DANIELS TO SUCCEED BOWMAN As Terminal Superintendent of the Consolidated.
It was officially reported yesterday that a new local terminal superintendent would soon be appointed to succeed Peter D. Bowman, who is to retire. W. H. Daniels, now superintendent of parlor cars, has been offered the position, and will probably accept.
Mr. Bowman, who is ill, has been in the road's employ for thirty-five years. Close application to business has caused Mr. Bowman to become sick, and for several days he has been confined to his home on Edgewood avenue. A rest will probably restore Mr. Bowman to health in a short time.
