The Speaker announced receipt of a letter addressed to several officials including Gov. Joseph McMinn and Felix Grundy. The letter contained a twenty shilling bill dated September 1, 1776, from the Bank of James River, with a blank envelope, post-marked Dandridge, July 20th, 1820. Mr. Grundy moved to deliver the bill to the member from Jefferson to return it to the owner. Mr. Bradford replied humorously, leading to laughter.
