All Men of War and Transports arrived by the 9th of July; about 30 Sail of King's Ships, Sloops and Bomb Ships, 16 of which were of the Line; about 13,000 Men in Camps and Barracks. 4 Schooners returned from Louisbourg Harbour, reporting only 16 enemy Sail, 12 of the Line. Reports of troops on shore unfounded, mistaken for stones in fog. Admiral Holbourn joined with four Sail, fleet now 20 Sail of the Line plus smaller; sailed from Halifax the 11th Instant, probably before Louisbourg. French may meet with 12 Ships of the Line and four Frigates.
