Judge W. A. Vinal's time outside on his recent visit was not all given over to hard headed business.
He visited in many delightful homes, and crowded in a lot of good times along with cold facts, and columns of figures.
Thanksgiving day was spent at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Burglund, in Tacoma. Mr. Burglund is a brother of Mrs. A. K. Hansen. He is a marine broker, and in his beautiful home are many handsome mementos from far away corners of the world.
The Hansens were also guests for the day.
In Seattle he was royally entertained at the homes of E. Caraco and W. A. Estus.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Jonsson and W. W. Maitland likewise generously entertained.
There was an interesting group at the pier to see him off. Billie Maitland took him down to the ship in his car, and the Hansens and Burglunds drove over from Tacoma to be on hand.
Mr. Estus and Sanger were there to shake hands, and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Jonsson were also present.
A niece and nephew, and a number of other friends met in years gone by in the interior and outside flocked to the ship's side to tell the Seldovia visitor good-bye.
