Radio Facilities
Seattle-Juneau Be
Installed by May 15

WASHINGTON. Feb. 27 (P) -
Bixby testified before the CAA
that Pan American Airways expected
to have adequate radio facilities
installed on the Seattle to
Juneau route by May 15 and will
install the equipment promptly
at Ketchikan. He said the weather
reports now broadcast were
considered ample for the service
but it was desirable to improve
them.

Most of the morning session
was taken up in cross examining
him by Samuel Gates CAA counsel
in efforts to determine if all
provisions to safeguard flying over
the route had been taken.
