ALL AROUND US

We wish that we had the power to reproduce by mechanical methods or paint in words the beauty northern Minnesota has as it may be seen in Itasca county and near to Grand Rapids today.

Rain, plenty of it, and clear sunshine have done their best. Combined they have produced a verdure which cannot be surpassed. The trees are perfect, the birches with their white trunks in contrast with the green of the leaves producing one of the rarest combinations in nature. The grass of Itasca county was never greener, the sky never bluer, the water clearer.

We should think that anyone who comes would like to stay. It is worth braving the coldest winter for the few months when nature concentrates her efforts for beauty.
