WARSAW, June 20. Our last advices from the main army bring an account that two large bodies of Turks, of 12,000 men each, have passed the Danube, and are directing their march to Jassy; and that, in consequence of this manoeuvre, the Russian General in chief, Count Romanzow, had passed the Pruth the 28th of this instant.

Letters from Moldavia, of the 10th, take notice that the Russian army had been obliged, by reason of the heavy rains that had just fallen, to encamp some days in the neighbourhood of Choczim, but that it was again put in march. On the 6th it encamped at Lepfchano, and on the 10th its van, under the command of General Baur, passed the Schaer; that part of the army of General Count Panin had already passed the Niester, near Kalus; and that General Stoffeln had drawn his army together. From all these motions, it is thought that the Russian Generals were making dispositions to attack the enemy, who are encamped near Falcy, immediately.

June 27. According to letters from Kaminieck, the Prince of Brunswick arrived there the 15th, and continued his route to join the army of Count Romanzow, which is advancing towards the Danube. General Stoffeln died at Barlat, much regretted by his troops, who are now commanded by the Prince de Repnin.
