Mr. G. W. Didlake, whose farm is near Crystal Springs, told a reporter of The Leader the other day that he had been farming forty years and had not bought four bushels of corn in all that time. He said last year his whole corn crop averaged 35 to 40 bushels per acre, and that he had over 200 bushels to sell at 75 cents per bushel, but this year it is not near so good, on account of too much rain. He said cotton is looking a good deal better than it ought, considering the price next fall is likely to be 5 or 6 cents.
