Clarendon, (Jamaica) Feb. 10. - About 7 o'clock on Saturday evening last, died at the Cross, Mr. Robert Barrow, merchant; his death was occasioned by a wound he received with his sword, he unluckily having it unsheathed and bending the blade on the edge of a table, by an unavoidable fatality it slipped off and pierced through his thigh; on withdrawing the sword, there issued so great an effusion of blood, that he expired within the space of a minute. He is greatly lamented, as he was remarkable for affability, good nature, and other social virtues.
