Rev. William Nelson De Berry, pastor of St. John's Congregational church and Mrs. De Berry celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary Saturday at the church parish house on Union street. An orchestra furnished music and Troy P. Gorum director of the choir of the church and a singer in it, gave several selections. Refreshments were served. Dr. and Mrs. De Berry were assisted in receiving by Mr. and Mrs. R. Augustus Lawson of Hartford, Ct., and Mr. and Mrs. William Wesson of Wortham, N. Y. Mr. Lawson was a classmate of Dr. De Berry at Fisk university. Among those who were present from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Alexander L. Manly and their son, Milo of Philadelphia, Pa., Mrs. J. H. Pughley of Hartford, Ct., and Percy Julius of Cambridge.
