In a thrill-a-minute battle for laurels in the consolation of the Boys' Division, the Luther J. Price Wildcats fell to the Spencer Green Wave quint, 69-52.

Spencer combined a fast-break and a tight shifting zone to take the Price Wildcats in camp.

The Green Wave quint was ahead, 16-15 at the quarter: 32-22 at intermission and pulled away for a 49-37 count at the end of the third quarter.

Spencer's Clarence Passmore led the scoring parade with 21 points: while Price's William Hillary finished in the runner-up position with 19.
