WILL CONTINUE MONTHLY MEETINGS
On the call of the president-elect, Elmer Switzer, the directors of the Commercial Club met Thursday evening in the City Hall and outlined their plans for the coming year. It was generally agreed that the club had ample opportunity to serve the community in many ways and that this could best be done by a vigorous policy in enlisting the assistance of men in the town and country who had shown themselves concerned in the progress of Libby interests.
The regular meeting night was maintained as the third Thursday of each month, the hour 8 o'clock and the place the City Hall. President Switzer expressed his willingness to give of his time and effort to maintain a live club and remarked that energetic civic organizations are the best insurance against a dead town. Membership is open to everyone who believes that the community can be improved by cooperative action. A set of programs, one for each month, was prepared so that the business of the club would be done in an orderly manner and so that the various committees could have time to arrange for worth-while meetings.
