The following is taken from the Newcomerstown News:
"The address of Ben S. Thisselle, minister of the Church of Christ, delivered at the baccalaureate exercises of the Newcomerstown high school on Sunday evening, was a splendid discourse, brim full of excellent advice and suggestions on the subject, "Remember Thy Creator," and was an appeal which left a lasting impression upon all who heard it. Minister Thisselle has a pleasing personality, which is equally effective both on the public stage and in his daily life.
The baccalaureate exercises were held in the high school auditorium which was filled beyond its seating capacity. The 43 graduates seated in a body near the front, made a beautiful picture, not only to the proud parents, but to the entire audience."
The Newcomerstown paper also carried the announcement of the Church of Christ. of which Mr. Thisselle is minister. Besides preaching Sunday morning and evening in Newcomerstown church, he also preached in the afternoon at Isleta.
Mr. Thisselle formerly resided at Mc Henry's station, and his many friends here are pleased to note his success as a minister.
