ACCIDENTAL SHOOTING OF AN ATTLEBORO HUNTER

Howard Clay of Franklin street is suffering from a bullet wound caused by the accidental discharge of a rifle in the hands of a friend yesterday morning.

Early in the day Mr. Clay, Roy Woodsworth and another man went hunting. When near the golf club, and while the three were talking, the rifle in the hands of Woodsworth was accidentally discharged.

The bullet entered the leg of Clay, and nearly passed through it. The bullet was of small caliber, and the wound is not considered serious.
