REVOLUTIONARY SOLDIERS.
We give below, a list of the names, ages and residence of the revolutionary soldiers, who attended the celebration of the 4th in this town.—The whole number is 44, of which the oldest is 95, and the youngest 63. In 1830 there were 76 present, in 1831, 53, and last year 37. The oldest of these veterans, Capt. Olhnicl Tripp, of this city, is really a remarkable man. Though almost a centenarian, one would not take him to be more than 70. On asking him about his health he told us that although his eye sight was very clear, his appetite good, and that he slept well, he was not very stout, as he found that he could not walk more than three or four miles at time, without suffering considerable fatigue.
